Maleek “Geech” Taylor

Maleek “Geech” Taylor is a visionary urban leader, church planter, educator, and creative strategist committed to developing leaders who transform their cities. With a deep passion for urban ministry and community empowerment, he has spent more than a decade building systems, programs, and creative environments that help people grow in faith, leadership, and purpose.

Maleek began his ministry journey in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, where he helped plant Impact Church and co‑founded Coatesville Kids to College, an after‑school program designed to break cycles of poverty by providing academic support, mentorship, and a pathway to higher education for at‑risk youth. The program quickly became a model for holistic urban leadership development—equipping students with the tools, confidence, and community support needed to thrive.

Today, Maleek serves at Crossover Church in Tampa, where his background in music, DJ culture, and production plays a key role in shaping the church’s creative expression. As a DJ, producer, and educator, he has trained emerging artists, developed DJ curriculum, and contributed to the innovative worship and arts culture that Crossover is known for.

In his leadership role with Flavor Fest, Maleek brings together his full range of experience—urban leadership development, church planting, youth empowerment, and creative arts—to help equip pastors, artists, and leaders from around the world. His mission is to raise up leaders who impact their communities through faith, creativity, and intentional discipleship.
